| Voting delegates at the 2008 Spring Conference at Manzano High School passed resolutions for NMASC projects for 2008-2009. Member schools select only one (1) Monetary Resolution and only one (1) Service Resolution. The member schools have selected three (3) General-Interest Resolutions.
All member schools are encouraged to support the approved resolutions.
Monetary Resolution: Host a Dance to Raise Money for Breast Cancer Research
Be it resolved: that every student council in the state of New Mexico host a dance to raise money for Breast Cancer research.
Service Resolution: Bring Warmth to Those in Need
Be it resolved: that every New Mexico student council set up a clothing drive during the holidays to help the homeless.
General-Interest Resolutions
- Read to Elementary Students to Make Reading More Enjoyable
Be it resolved: that every student council will take time to read to elementary students to make reading a more enjoyable part of their life.
- Collect Toys for Local Charity
Be it resolved: that each student council collect toy donations and donate them to local charity.
- Hold Drunk Driving Awareness Week to Raise Awareness
Be it resolved: that every New Mexico student council hold Drunk Driving Awareness Week.
