NMASC Adviser of the Year Award
Every year NMASC recognizes one middle level and one high school adviser who has done an oustanding job serving as their school's Student Council adviser and honors them at the annual NMASC Spring Conference. The advisers who win this state award are automatically nominated for the prestigious Warren E. Shull National Adviser of the Year award, presented by the National Association of Student Councils.

The NMASC Hummingbird Award is awarded to those students who have attended the NMASC Summer Leadership Workshop for six consecutive years, and is presented at the Workshop.

At the NMASC State Conference, schools showcase their creativity and spirit though the annual Roll Call Contest.
